Our intensive 10-week Skills Bootcamps provide focused, practical training in high-demand areas of Pharmacy, Science, and Dental. Funded by the UK Government's Department for Education, Skills Bootcamps offer free, flexible training to help you build in-demand sector-specific skills and secure an interview with an employer upon completion.

Are you eligible?

Skills Bootcamps are available to those who are unemployed, self-employed, employed or returning to work after a break and want to improve their skills. To be eligible, you must be 19 years or older and:

Region resident

A permanent residential postcode within the Skills Bootcamp area and have lived in the UK for the past three years.

Number 2 icon

Eligible for funding

Have the right to live or remain and the right to work in England.

Number 3 icon

Desire to learn

No previous experience in pharmacy is required, but you need to speak a good level of English and have a willingness to learn.

Subject specialists will teach the free 10-week course, covering topics such as:

Introduction to the Workplace Environment
Legislation, Regulation and Professional Practice
Introduction to Health and Safety
Teamwork
Effective Communication
Continued Professional Development (CPD) and Employability
Introduction to Infection Control, and Waste Management in the Working Environment
Preparation within the Laboratory, Dental and Pharmacy Environment
