This year is the 18th annual celebration of National Apprenticeship Week (NAW), which runs from the 10th to the 16th of February 2025. The theme this year is Skills for Life, a celebration of the positive impact apprenticeships make on individuals, businesses, local communities, and the wider economy.
Skills Minister Jacqui Smith said: “With our new Growth and Skills Levy, we are giving these businesses greater flexibility over their training, and through Skills England we will boost opportunities across the country so even more people can get on in life and drive our economic recovery.”
National Apprenticeship Week daily themes:
Monday 10th February – Skills for Life
Tuesday 11th February – Employer Tuesday
Wednesday 12th February – Apprentice Wednesday
Thursday 13th February – T Level Thursday
Friday 14th February – Celebration Friday
Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th February – The NAW Weekender
Jay Crabb, Head of Sales & Marketing, emphasises the vital role of apprenticeships. He explains, “Apprenticeships empower learners by providing valuable on-the-job training while they acquire the essential skills for success in their chosen field. This invaluable model helps employers effectively address critical skills gaps within their organisations. We are excited to celebrate our dedicated apprentices and their committed employers.”
